Before contacting the KIDC...
You should be aware that our organization is run solely by
volunteers and due to our website's popularity, we currently
have a backlog of upwards of 150-200 emails in our correspondence
box. We are attempting to take care of all messages, however
this may take quite some time!
If you are planning on writing us to request info relating
to Klingon culture, traditions, etc., we'd like to inform you
that all the information we have researched and accumulated will
be posted to the website as time allows. You may also find answers
to what you seek either in our Klingon FAQ,
or our Klingon Imperial
Forums.
If you are planning to request a new entry to the "Klingon
Internet Directory" your request will be filed in the appropriate
update folder, to be attended to as soon as our volunteers can
attend to them.
If you want to link to the KIDC website; you have permission
to do so, as long as your website does not contain any objectionable
material (ie: adult site). We do request that if you link only
to the "front door" at http://www.klingon.org
and not any other webpage. If you are requesting a link from
the KIDC to your site, please follow the instructions on our
Cyberlinks section where
you can add your own link to your Klingon or Star Trek related
website.
If you have a Klingon-related matter which you consider to
be urgent; you should definitely post your request for assistance
on our new "Klingon
Imperial Forums". Hopefully, one or more of the forum
members will be able to help you with your request. You'll have
to register in order to have access, but it's free and takes
only a minute; the only necessary info is a name and a valid
email address; the rest is optional.
