I am alone. My dagger is my only companion. I am hiding. I move very slowly. I remain very quiet. When the wind shifts, the scent of prey fills my nostrils. I move toward the scent. Ahead, in a small clearing, I see the beast. As I approach, it sees me. I can sense it's fear. It bolts away. I give chase. The branches tear at my face and my clothes. The breath tears at my lungs. My heart beats ever faster. Soon, th beast stumbles. My dagger leaps into my hand. I stab the beast. Again and again, I stab it. I am drenched in the warm blood of the beast. I take out it's heart, and I eat it. The fierceness, the essence, the feral nature of the beast, are now within me. My victory is total. This hunt has ended.
