Just wondering if anyone has an interest in Klingon ales and other drinks.

I have brewed batches of Warnog, Raktajino, Breshtanti ale, Kanar, Jestral Tea, Maraltian Seev-ale, and yes, Bloodwine. My ales tend to be strong - about 8-12% alcohol - just the way a Klingon would like them.

I flavored the Breshtanti ale with rose buds and petals, and the Seev-ale is supposed to be green, so I used barley grass and spirulina - I guess that makes it the ultimate health food ale...

Salek of the IKV Melota( http://www.janissaries.net/ikvmelota/default.htm ) brews Bloodwine. His is really potent and really sweet.

I have a recipe for Firewine, and need to do that myself. He also brews his own malts and beer. Check out his site,he'd love to talk to other brewers.

btw...I'd love to try some Warnog & Raktajino or at least know how to do it.

*snork* From the taste or the carbonation?

I always understood WORF to be used as a verb, not an exclamation. Like RALPH.

Slurm was Futurama? "SLURM HAS BEEN FOUND TO CAUSE CANCER IN LABORATORY HUMANS".

Bar-none Barq's is my Favorite Root Beer... IBC is Pretty Good too... There is (Or at Least Was), a Place in Santa Cruz called the Santa Cruz Brewing Company that Made a "Root Beer" that was a True Brew... Heavy Duty, not at All a Soft Drink... Yummy... But Intense...

Despite what Quark said about root beer being a federation drink, I too have to agree on Barq's and IBC. Another good one, if you can find it is Virgil's. I haven't had it in a few years, so I don't know if it is still out there.

I am more a fan of Birch Beer, but living in the Northeast, it isn't always available around here. I usually get it when I travel.
