I just found this in dynamic advertising on some Furry forums.   Hey, they can't miss all the time.   Appearently there is a Group called Kosmic Horror that has done a Klingon concept album.  The musical teasers are pretty short so it's hard to judge the overall quality, but it does sound a bit like it falls into the most popular Klingon musical genre.  Unfortunately to my tastes, I describe it as mumble metal.   Give it a listen if you care to, you may feel differently.   There are some funny parts to the website (other than the typos).

Klythe,

I managed to get ahold of one of their Album... (And I believe that qoSagh owns one as well)... I enjoyed it overall, though I have had no success thus far in trying to contact them... (I wanted permission to include a couple of their songs on the KSG soundtrack, which was neither sold nor distributed in any way. But it still would have been nice to get a  Thumbs up! before doing so)...

Regardless, I listen to it every now and then just to listen to it... It is very polished and well produced...

maj! {Good}...

I got a copy of it from a member of the Melota (DFW ship) and I enjoy it. The Kaos Kronicle I do believe is the name.  Unless he's put out another one, it should be the same.

I do own a copy, but have not listened to it in some time. I like it solely for being Klingon, as it's not really my type of music. I prefer my Heavy Metal to at least have understandable, not slurred lyrics. I do like the fact that it was recorded in tlhIngan Hol, which makes it good for use in RP settings.

I quite like the sound of that.. It sounds a lot like Metalica. I'm thinking of buying it. Oh my neighbours are going to hate me!!

Abbot, qoSagh do the lyrics come with the CD??

Cheers

I have to admit when I listened to one of the teasers I was waiting to hear "come and rock me Amadeus"

I could go with mumble metal or maybe Euro Rock?

Well, after reading about it. . . I brought it.  I just wish that they included a translation of the songs into English or better yet, I knew more of the Klingon tongue.  Has anyone taken time to translate any of the songs and if so, can I get you to pass the knowledge?

Cheesy-Funny claim to fame!-The musicians who produced this kinda hang around Khemorex Klinzhai qetlops a lot
(think they like to get drunk and fall down on a regular basis)-hence the "Khemorex Klinzhai " track-also if you click onto the third window of the ship on their homepage there is a VERY handsome, Scottish, Klingon Fleet Admiral staring back at you!-at least they had the manners to ask permission to use it first!(or was that fear of a messy and quick dispatch I wonder?)-Khemorex has quite a few musicians in the fleet -mostly of the Thrash metal persuasion-(They're German after all!)-but also a VERY pretty female professional Opera singer who does justice to Klingon Opera after a few bloodwines at the Qetlops.

I really liked Alia from that CD and the idea is great.

I do hope that their next album is a bit more melodic. The processing is amazing, still.

Just wondering, but does anyone know whether this band actually tried to use the language properly, or did a Paramount hackjob on it?
