Strange Question!!

I was talking to a friend of mine about this site. He has asked me to put this question to you guys.

Im an avid reader, I read anything and everything, some years ago I was given a book to read that basically was about a medium "chanelling" an alien entity.
One of the things that stuck was this entity claiming Gene Roddenberry regularly used a local medium to do the same, and took part in Q&A sessions about galatic life etc, and that these formed the basis of a great many of his ideas.
Yvonne Fern wrote in "Inside the mind of Gene Roddenberry" that prior to his death he told her some "secrets" that if 20 years later (2011) she wanted to , she could publish.

Has anyone else heard this story, and do you think thats what is alluded to in her book ?

I have never heard any of this myself. Though to be honest I am more a Studant of the Klingon Way than am I of Mr. Roddenberry. Meaning of course that I have researched the man little...

That said, several sources predict the end of the world in 2012... (The Bible Code, Nostradamus and the Maya to name 3 examples. It seems I remember something in the Hindu traditions as well about that year?), So maybe he did not want to panic anyone prematurely?...<Chuckle>... Of course the end of one world can be the beginning of another, so there is that bit of silver lining.
