While most of us will hear the news today about James Doohan passing away, all the articles and obituaries will remember him as Captain Montgomery Scott. I also hope we remember him for the Klingon voices he provided:

Koloth in "More Troubles, More Tribbles" [TAS]

Kor & Kaas in "Time Trap" [TAS]

We shall raise a glass of the good stuff up for him, be it Single Malt or Bloodwine.

That which does not kill me, must have missed me.

I shall hold a mug of Green in salute while singing "Amazing Grace."

My mug will be lead-lined as I am not ready to do battle with The Miracle Worker in the Black Fleet just yet.

Richard the Sound Guy: "And the next person to lecture me about canon risks getting shot out of one! Right, gaffers?"
Gaffers make appreciative and supportive remarks in the form of bad imitations of primate calls from the direction of the lighting grids.

It is certainly bad news.
Scotty will now be starting his real Trek around the stars though.

Here's to Scotty!

It's is truly amazing what it took to finally bring him home... Bullets didn't do it... It took the combined efforts of Parkinsons, Diabetes, Alzhimers, Lung Fibrosis _and_ Pnuemonia before he was ready to be beamed up, all the way up...

Speaking of that, I'm sure God's Speed is a few Warp Factors faster, now that the Miracle Worker is back on board...

Last night, I drank to him as the warrior he was.  I drank what he drank when he drank the Kelvin under the table, Saurian Brandy, Tranya, "Green" and vera vera old Scotch... Whiskey!

I'm sure he would have wanted to be sent off this way, with bad Scotty jokes and binge drinking...

Before the Miss Klingon Pagent at Dragon Con this Year we Had a Bag Piper Play Amazing Grace while Various Pictures of Jimmy Doohan were Shown on a Large Overhead Screen, It Really Got Everyone there I Think... Then We Did a Massive Death Howl for Him...
