I have not ventured far from this site, but do any of you know of any Klingon organizations operating in Northern California?

What little information you have provided above puts you in the StarFire region of the Ring of Fire Fleet. Its online dossier and contact information can be found at http://roff.kahless-ro.org/starfire.html.

Can you be more specific about your location without compromising yourself or your current assignment? I too am in northern California and looking to make contact with other Klinfolk.

Wow! Many thanks, Kesvirit!  I have to run, but the quick scimming I did through various homepages had be taken aback- So many!....
It is comforting to know Klingons are so prevalent in our neck of the woods! I will elaborate on closed channels, ie email.

Hello again Kesvirit! Sorry for the long the delay.  Had trouble with my email and I just came back from a month long mission in Europe.
I'd been previously more apprehensive about personal information, but what I can post here is that I am a professional actor (mainly of the stage) and have been living and working in the Bay Area (San Francisco). I have acted all around Nor Cal.  I recently have moved back to Sacramento and I am gearing up (literally, ie. uniform wise) for the Creation Convention here in October. Yup-Kirk and Spock'll be there.....where are you stationed?

Do not apologise for the delay; there is no dishonor in having a life outside these boards. }}: P
I am about an hour away from San Jose, and will elaborate further on a secured channel.

There are several of us from NorCal.  Swing a targ by the tail and you will hit a Klingon.  Wink

Korvas, I don’t recommend that course of action. I am guessing that the one lacks an agricultural background and has never come close to the tail end of a live and healthy targh. Targh tails are very... slippery. If the one is not familiar with them, the less said the better. (To summarize: yuck.) There are better ways to prove one’s strength and stamina. Like tribble-juggling contests.

I am based in the area designated NorCal, and my sensor nets show the nearest of concentrations of Klinfolk to be about two and a half hours away by ground. My few encounters with them were not to my liking. Too many displayed a lack of understanding of context-appropriate behavior. I do not wish to recount tales of dishonor of other Klingons, so I have little more to say about them. Distance and deportment keep me from the Klingon company I would so enjoy in this Human-dominated backwater posting.

If any other NorCal Klinfolk pass through these boards, particularly but not limited to those without regular meatspace opportunities to meet with other Klinfolk, present yourselves! Perhaps we could eventually plan a one-time muster, meet-up, or outing of some sort.  If you're a onetime poster or don't make it here often, you can get email notifications of new posts to this thread by hitting the "notify" button on the bottom of the bottom-most post. (Note that you have to keep your email address current with your account for this to work.)

You speak wisely about the targh, Kesvirit!

I would be game to meet up with folks in NorCal.  I will keep an eye on this forum.
