Be welcome and join us, zan Shin. Over what matters do you like to butt heads, and how did you come across them?

Excellent! Perhaps you can start by headbutting the activity levels in the science department. Leave the impression of your skull your on the topics there (in the form of your thoughts)...

Well WB then.

I think many have found that with the current vacuum of new Trek other forms of fandom sometimes present a more active arena. At some point folks do sometimes peek back in on old interests and find that the die hards are still around and plugging away...

I am proving that myself as I have not been as active around here of late...*Chuckle*...

Well...  This tread is about you...  So feel free to answer these questions or not.

What business do you do?   Education?

I was in a Star Wars/Star Trek crossover for a few years...   I'm thinking about starting a thread about Klingons and Star Wars "religions" in the Klingon Religions area.  Would that discussion interest you?

Blade Runner...  I remember one of the books had a Klingon android or cyborg...  That might also be an interesting topic, we've talked about Klingons and computer before...  I'm not sure if such things have been coalesced into a single thread.

Meh too young to be doing anything fancy like Education, I'm just a 19 year old bum that wants to make it big one day ;p

Oh and before I forget ;p

Yeah that SW/ST discussion would interest me.  I hear rumors that in one of the prequels you briefly see klingons in the senate scene with Palpatine addressing the senators, the uniforms are quite distinctive.

I wonder, what would the few Klingons of the SW Galaxy think of Palpatines New Order? Wink

Welcome back, ShinЯa.  It is good to see you again old friend!  You would of course for give a freind for the visual pun with your name. Cheesy Klingon Grin   Summer again already?  And the smell of blood is in the air.  Enough with books and styluses!  Back to butting heads over meaningless discussions of a made up race of space aliens! Cheesy Klingon Grin

I took the liberty of merging your welcome threads together so people won't have to dig for them to get reacquainted...   Did have that discussion of Klingons vs Soviet Russians discussion?  It would be a worthy topic to see how far the metaphor can be stretched.  We already know how quickly it breaks down, but perhaps we can learn more about Klingons by looking at the History of Russia and the cold war.

And what of "Klingons" who are computers?

Surprisingly odd energetic post, was I -that- fun a poster? Tongue

I'm still doing my thing, looking for an Admin job..might be doing IT in September.

20 on the 25th of may, indeed; I become a man Tongue

And I could talk for ages and ages about the Klingon's (film era) obvious similarities to the USSR, the USSR and Warsaw Pact are one of my "key interests".

I warn you though, I have time for the Romulans and Empire from SW though..so don't expect me to be the most "patriotic" member hehe.

(stuck you on msn Klythe, what a treat ;] )
