I say qaleghneS' to you all,   [edit: qaleghneS means roughly "I'm honored see you", I believe the appostrophe at the end is a typo   -Klythe]

I'm K' Dar (q'Dar) Marine captain, tai- tuq Veska, Marine Contingent Commander and Chief of Security aboard the IKV Hurgh Hap, (Dark Matter) a K'vort class BoP that patrols the Los Angeles/San Bernadino County area. A member of the Ring of Fire Fleet.

I' have been a Fan of the Klingons as long as I can remember, and I've been attending Scifi Conventions, Fan and Charity Events since March of 2000 and have loved it ever since, I've enjoyed the company of fellow warriors from all over and would not want the company of any other.

If you have any questions contact me at captkdarveska@aol.com

I took the liberty of translating your tlhIngan Hol to English. (I use bold typeface to indicate Klingon language, since it is to be spoken boldly).    As mentioned in the Posting Guidelines, readers of this forum are not expected to have a complete reference library beside their terminal, so English translations are required unless posting in the Klingon language-only forum.  Feel free to correct my translations if I didn't get back what you intended to say.  (Press the modify button just above your post. Cheesy Klingon Grin)   (I also fixed your email tags)

Now that the nasty admin business out of the way,  I welcome you to the Klingon Imperial Forums.   You sound very opinionated and informed.  I like that. Cheesy Klingon Grin   I can't wait to hear your opinion on some of the aspects of Klingon culture we discuss here. I can't wait to disagree with you over a mug of warnagh(a Klingon beer).
Someone was just looking for Klingons in LA, ah, I see you found that, majQa' (Very good)

Welcome, when I first saw your name I thought I knew you, because when I first got involved in the early 1990's there was a Warrior named K'Dar in New Jersey. I don't think he ever made it that far west however.

Either way, welcome aboard. I too look forward to banging heads and raising mugs with you. I have dealt with one other of your house on line quite a bit, and think well of your house.

q'Dar,

Welcome and Greetings From The Library... Don't Let Klythe's Klin-handling of Your Post Get You Down, they are A Bit Strict around here about Not Posting anything in Klingon without An Acompanying Translation... So He's Doing his Job... Don't Let it Run Ya Off though, Just throw him some Raw Meat, Dot the "I's" and Cross the "T's" and Every thing will be Fine....<Cynical Grin>...

Seriously, Welcome and I Also Have Known at least "Of" another q'Dar, though I Believe that She was, well... a She...

qaleghneS back atcha. Cheesy Klingon Grin

It is not often if every we see a researcher marine, never with such glorious credentials.   I look forward to hearing your insights on Costuming and to engaging in spirited disagreements with you.  Cheesy Klingon Grin  Heheh.  I'm sure you won't let that scare you away.  We do our best to make sure everyone respects each other's honor and disagreements are about ideas and are not personal.   Unfortunately we might agree more often than disagree.  Who knows.    Heheheheh.

I think I need to clarify a bit, Thought Master Klythe, I'm assigned to the IKRV Hurgh Hap, However I am not a scientist, I'm just involved in the R & D of weapons, not the perpulsion of ships, and I and my contingent of Marines " accuire" what ever the HoD and crew needs.

And keeping informed on how to maintain one's Uniform and to help other with their uniform, (Costume's), to me is very Important.

You are a marine and you research.  Your record is glorious.  What part of what I had said was untrue.

Yes, building and maintaining a Klingon costume is important as it may be the only project for many fans, relying on other more invested  prop makers for the rest of it.
