Hard to tell without a question or other context in which to place the riddle.  Give us something to go from here?

The answer is, that the targh can only run halfway into the forest, after that the one is running out of the forest.

That doesn't explain how a targh can be completely inside the forest, if the targh can only run until the one is halfway inside.  I think he walks the rest of thw way in.  Cheesy Klingon Grin

Being Able to Exist Completely Within the Forest Requires a Level of Personal Detachment and Spiritual Perspective that May Well be Beyond Such a Creature... Though Some Might Answer that All Non-sentients are at the Very Core "ALWAYS" existing Completely Wherever they might Find themselves... I Do Not see that this would serve any Particular Advantage However, Or None that Applies to the Original Question... Since Even these Beasts Must Comply With one of the Fundamentals of Movement, Which is that One Inevitably Moves Either Towards That Which is Desireable or Away From those Things Which Are Not... (In THe World of the Beast this Behavior Would Be Simplified to Fight or Flight Programming)... One Is the Way of Growth and Progression, The Other of Fear and Decay...

You are all wrong, though Klythe comes closer than most. The targh never even made it into the forest. Zeno said it first:

In order to reach the point halfway across the forest, the targh must travel the distance to the halfway point. However, before it can reach the halfway point, it must travel halfway to the halfway point. Then it must travel halfway to that point, and so forth. Apply it far enough and the targh never made it into the protection of the forest and was killed by hunters.

It was delicious.

Obviously its Fight or Flight Reflexes did not Serve that Particular Targ in that Particular Scenario... Cheesy
