This is something thats been bothering me for a while...Does a Klingon have to be of certain honor to get on a bigger ship?...or does it matter? I mean Would I have the same chance to be an officer aboard a  Bird of Prey as i would a Negh'Var Class battleship?

I think this would be somewhat random, or at least based on the immediate needs of the Empire when one starts their career. I think warriors are assigned to wherever the openings are. Based on some real life stuff I have seen, I can see a class of academy graduates picking from available assignments based on how well they did at the academy. Once one is assigned to a given ship, however, I think things change a bit. My opinion is that Klingons would in most cases rather stay with their crew than transfer to a larger ship. I think the only transfers that might be more acceptable are the ones that come with promotion.
