Alternating colors

Is it possible to have alternating colors in a post overview, so that post-details are easier to recognise as belonging to one post or another?

Since I read threads by clicking on "last post" in the "View New Posts" overview most of the time, it has become a little disturbing to not know one post from another...

It's a real little peave (I can work it out fine, it just takes a nanosecond longer), but since it is the only one in centuries {vatlh DIS poHmey}, I thought I'd ask...

Unfortunately it is not an option. Some programs do this by default, but I believe Lady K'Zin chose simplicity and stability over drums-n-horns when considering Forum software after the Aug. 2003 crash. To get the effect you request would involve writing the software's code, a skill light-years beyond mine.

I will put it on the wish list for hack searches, but even if I can find something Lady K'Zin will have to install it.

It was a mere request.
I have learned that requests sometimes do not get granted. I can live with that.
Your, Lady K'zins and Klythe's efforts to make these forums a valuable resource on all things Klin(gon) have regardless not been in vain.

    This is now possible, and is if fact the default with the new forum software.  Do you like the colors?   We can change them as desired.

I was Going to Say, "Hey they are alternating" but I Guess I Found this Qustion after the Original Request... That Having been Said, The Colors are Fine for me...
