The biggest collection of Klingon (inspired) filk I have seen so far is in the hands of B'elora vestai-DarkH, a member of the Khemorex Klinzhai club I belong to.

The collection contains German, English and Klingon songs.

Does anyone know of more filk, preferably in languages other than those mentioned above?

I have actually been working on some of my own. But it is less filk in the comedic sense as much as it is Klingon adaptations of songs. I have so far almost finished two, both of which started out as Irish folk songs.

Not all of the songs on the site of B'elora are comedic in nature.
Especially the Klingon songs are mainly Klingon texts on Human tunes...

But please keep us informed of your progress!

One I have the Lyrics finished, The second I have the Lyrics almost done. Not being a musician I am trying to either find Karaoke or other instrumental versions which is difficult. Short of that I have a couple of friends who may be able to help out with the music.

One think I have found is how hard it really is to do a project like this. Trying to find Klingon Rymes is an uphill battle sometimes. Combined with teh fact that the songs are mostly in English, with either tlhIngan Hol words or Klingon phrases put in where appropriate and where they fit musically. As much of a pain as it is sometimes, it has been one of the most fun Klingon side projects I have worked on in a while.

Clark Chambers has contributed the immortal Klingon Christmas Song. It follows the melody of "Jingle Bells", at least at the beginning before the guitar solo, and can be downloaded from http://www.tvshowboards.com/startrek/view....rd=040425022109.

Unfortunately I have been unable to locate a transcript of the lyrics. Perhaps some experienced speaker of tlhIngan Hol with a good ear will listen to it and provide us with one...

Gaffers make appreciative and supportive remarks in the form of bad imitations of primate calls from the direction of the lighting grids.

What is the worth of art if it is not shared? It is my pleasure, and self-imposed duty to alert fellow Klingon(ist)s to what Klingon Art is out there.

I've downloaded it, it sounds... interesting.
I'm no language expert {HolpIn}, but translation beckons.

Here are Some basic Lyrics I Found Online Some Time Ago...

Klingon Bells
by Jon Bright

Cruising at Warp 8,
in my father's Bird-of Prey;
searching through the stars
for someone we can flay!    HA! HA! HA!

Lights on consoles blink.
Something is in sight.
What fun it is to hunt and sing!
We'll have a feast tonight!

Klingon Bells, Klingon Bells,
This is a good day.
Oh what fun it is to ride
in a broken Bird-of Prey!

Klingon Bells, someone smells,
I hope we get blood pie.
Something in my heart tells me;
it's a good day to die!

As a brief update, While researching for one of these songs, I found that there are at least three Klingonized versions of the same Irish song that I consider my second. All with the same title, so I guess it was an obvious conversion to at least some of us out here in Klindom.
