Hail all Warriors!

I'm newly immersing myself in our culture, and have heard on the net scuttlebutt about a book called- The Secret Fighting Arts of the Warrior Race, and an article I found on Google stated that the KDIC had info on this book.  The last posting asked if there were any scanned pages of the book.

I would appreciate any and all information I can get on this book.

My name is Mark, I live in Maryland and am a member of the Klingon Language Institute and go by the yahoo id of 'wingcommanderkram'.

                                                             Qapla!

I think it is now out of print, but I may be wrong. It is a martial arts text book. I bought my copy via eBay a few years ago. It looks from my limited knowledge of such things to be a useable study guide for Martial Arts. If you are looking for cultural references, then I think it may not be what you are looking for.

Before Paramount closed the sale of the book titled *The Secret Fighting Arts of the Warrior Race*, Lady K'Zin of the KIDC was able to procure a number of them due to their excellent content. You can contact her at:
klingon@klingon.org to see if any of the books remain available.
The KIWG is a sister site of the KIDC, and at last report Lady K'Zin was serving as its webmistress. I recommend you contact her personally via email.

Wing Lam's still sells brand new copies of this book along with other Martial Arts instruction, supplies and other products of cultural interest.   The book is out of print, but they apperently still have copies left to sell.

Greetings,

We have been informed that you are interested in obtaining a copy of the extremely rare Paramount-banned book called "Secret Fighting Arts of the Warrior Race" book; we still have several available as we obtained our supply *before* the ban, by the author himself, who is a Klingon consort to the KIDC Ambassador.

Also, as we are offering them out of Canada and the ban was made in the US; that may keep us out of trouble for now... at least until we can make sure the books are all distributed to good Klingon homes who will truly appreciate them!

All proceeds of these book sales go to support the many Klingon programs, projects and mailing lists that the Klingon Imperial Diplomatic Corps has established and maintains, as well as the cost of our award-winning 225+ page KIDC website and the very popular Klingon Imperial Forums.

The book measures 6" x 9", has 176 pages and 250 B&W photos of the author in traditional Klingon clothing performing the maneuvers. There are also detailed foot placement charts and numerous Klingon language proverbs throughout the book.

We have been told by several people that there are a few copies of the book circulating at conventions that have been selling for upwards of $150 to $200 US, with copies regularly selling on eBay for $75 US and up, with one particular copy selling for over $125 US a while back! For now, the price that we are selling our remaining copies for is $50.00 US each (shipping extra).

If you are interested, please contact klingon@klingon.org with "Klingon Secret Arts Book" in the title to reserve a copy for you and to calculate shipping rates for your area. Your purchase will continue to support the work that the Klingon Imperial Forums and the KIDC site have made to the global Klingon community.
