For those of you who may not be aware, the KIDC has a very handy feature, the Klingon Virtual Post Office, from which you can send free e-greetings and postcards. You can also upload your own graphics and music if you so choose, as well as post-date your messages for sending at a later date.

We have recently added a popular selection of Klingon-themed designs, including Birthday and Valentines cards, and even a Promotion Congratulations.

Send your mate or loved one a Valentine today, and be sure to bookmark the Klingon Virtual Post Office for use throughout the year... Cheesy

I wondered about that, too. What use do Klingons have for Valentine’s cards? I have tentatively concluded that they must be meant for the Humans on the boards, or for Klingons who are courting Humans.

Yes... Know Thine Enemy...<Chuckle>... I Think that all of these would be Superfluous in Klingon Society, But that they are Very Clever For us Lowly Humans that Like to Play at Being Klingon... I Found One of these To Be Useful Today, as A Friend was Recently Promoted...

Alas, my puter won't let me see the images.

Now I'll have to kill it... Grin

I'm sure they're very cool, though! I wish I could see them. What a great idea!

The fault does not lie with your computer, X’na. I cannot see them either. I will report to Lady K’Zin that the Virtual Post Office appears to be down.

The files are still on disk.  It appears to be a webserver permissions issue with the hotlink protection.  I just need get her permission before changing the settings.

I'll have to get my more technical savvy other half to figure it out, then. Thanks for the information! Smiley

See? That's how little I know about computers. I couldn't even figure out you were telling me it was on the admin side.  Cheesy

I think I"ll stick to hand to hand combat...easier to understand than puters.  Grin

Seriously, I'll check back to see when everything's up and running. I think this is a terrific idea and I want to support it.

Actually, I think I fixed this the way it should be fixed.  I just needed to add the card site to the list of exceptions.
