Hail Brothers and Sisters!
I am Bekk K'dlah, a soldier of the Empire, currently stationed in Baghdad, Iraq. Although I have been a fan of the series for thirty some yers I have only recently began to be....more involved.

Of course, living here on the far fringes of the Empire I am cut off from our normal conversational links.

I look forward to many conversations and sharing with you my tales of Glory.

Welcome,

The miracle of the Internet is that we may share conversations and tales of glory across far flung portions of the Empire. So by all means Join in the fray, Read, Reply, Coment, Debate.

The Empire is large indeed-yet we find our Warriors in the most unlikely places.

I have already found another Warrior on my own Team. We may be the first Klingon Military Advisory Group unit in Iraq!

A bit about myself.

I have been a soldier in the US Army for 22 years now, having served in numerous places. I was retireing last year, but the Army desided that I was needed one more time.

I am married and have three sons and a daughter. Most of the time I live in Texas but am currently stationed in Baghdad, Iraq.

I have been a fan of the series since I was a kid. I used to rush home from school to watch it every afternoon (early 1970s). My fondest memories are play Star Trek with my friends with cardboard phasers.

When I was ten we took a trip out to California and I got to visit a store in Berkley that had all the Star Trek stuff there was.

30 years later I am getting back into it again, because my own boys like the series and I have remembered all the great things we did, and all the new things there are.

Hope to learn as much as I can.

yes welcome. It seems that our numbers still increase, even as paraborg systematically dismantle our known universe.

They can not dismantle what they didn't build themselves in the first place. While the original seeds of course lie in Star Trek, most of what is Klingon fandom was created by and for the fans. In the dark days between FASA and TNG all there was was fan fiction and roleplaying. TNG only began showing us tidbits of Klingon culture because there was a market for it. That market was fans.

So it is good to see the sons of Klingon fans now becomming fans in thier own right. That ensures there will always be a fanmade structure that is stronger than Paraborgs biggest wrecking ball.

Greetings K'dlah,

Another Warrior I Know has Just Returned from Honorable Duty at Strikebase Afgan, We were Joyous at his Return...

May Your Own Duties Afford you Just Honor and QeylIS willing a Glorious Return when Your Duty is Done!

Until That Day, Know that You Have Many Brothers and Sisters Wishing you Well!

And... May this Library Add you to the Roster of Current Klingon Warriors Actively Serving the Empire?

::::Role-play Off::::

The Roster I Speak of is not yet in Existence, But I am Nearly Ashamed that I had not thought to Create one yet, so with your Blessing you Would be the First. Though that is Circumstantial as this is the First Post Here Which I have Replied to, so those that I have not yet Found Would Enjoy the Same Honor of Being Recognized I Just do not Yet Know who they Are...<Chuckle>... At Any Rate the Roster would be reflective of Klingon Fans Who are Serving Abroad in Harms way, or Preparing to do so...

::::Role-play On::::
