I'm a complete beginner working my way through the lessons built into the pojwI' word processor, and in one of the end-of-unit tests I came across this sentence, which it asked me to translate:

toQDuj vergh DeghwI'

Now as far as I can see, this means "the helmsman docks the Bird of Prey". But I've tried this (along with every variant of capitalisation that I can think of) and pojwI' says it's incorrect. What am I doing wrong?

Well, you've definitely got the correct meaning, but let me check it out here.

Which lesson are you working with when you see this?

It's lesson 1.05 NS3: Qualification, it's the 8th question on the test.

OK, thanks for the info. I cannot seem to get it to work, either. The files are encrypted, too, so I can't even figure out what it's looking for.

However, I can assure you, you are 100% correct. {toQDuj vergh DeghwI'} absolutely means "The Helmsman docks the Bird of Prey".

I suppose the test will just have to stay at 90%, then! At least I know I got it right. Thanks for your help!

Hello!

I'm new to this board ( this is my first post! ) so feel free to newbie-bash me Tongue

Anyways, I'm having a simillar problem with lesson 1.05.

It's asking me to translate {Duj chIj DeghwI'} which means {The helmsman nevigates the ship}. I've tried everything! I tried chaning ship into vessel, I tried taking off the "the", everything! But it's still not working!

Could someone please help me? Thanks all!

Hi again everyone!

The sentence from my previous post isn't the only one that doesn't work. Pretty much all the Klingon sentences I need to translate into English in lesson 1.07 don't work either :\

Anyone kno what I can do about this?
Thanks

There seem to be a few mistakes in the test on Lesson 1.07. You're right about {Duj chIj DeghwI'} - it seems to me that the programmer made a few typos when he was putting in the correct answers. I wish pojwI' would tell you the right answer after you get it wrong like most things do.
