I read it, and basically liked it. The best part for me was that it took a somewhat skeptical look at the Kahless story. The worst part for me was that the author simply took viking culture, crossed out viking and wrote Klingon in. I realize that Klingons have been based on a number of sources (Japan, Russia) over the course of existance but usually not in such an obvious manner.

The Book alternates chapters between an ancient Kahless story, and a modern Picard/Worf story, which up untill recently all trek books seemed to require the enterprise crew to be an active part of.

As a side not, there is a new edition out that takes this book and packages it in a single volume with The Final Reflection. Ifone had not read either, I would recomend buying the double edition.
