I trust you found what you needed about pIqaD, the writing system for the Klingon language?   And yes, it has no letter 'f'.  Instead of 'f' Klingons use 'v', for example Lt. Worf of Starfleet, would have his name spelled "wor'Iv"  if it was spelled in the Imperial tongue.  (Klingons also have very very few consonant clusters so many consonant pairs have to be broken up with a vowel or perhaps dropped if it is a weak sound.

There is no official live chat as there hasn't been much interest, but the KDIC maintains several Yahoo groups which support a javabased chat that works for some people some of the time...  }}:|

You are sure this is not a typo? You did not mean to enter "G'daya Warriors" or "G'dayt Warriors"? }}; )

There is, though you are unlikely to find anyone there without making prior arrangements to meet them there. The KIDC maintains it's own web-based chat room at http://klingon.org/cgi-sys/mchat.cgi?chann...nel=klingon.org. Caveat: When using Netscape, it crashed the browser whenever I tried to use it. I don't know the problem lay with the site, the browser, or my computer.

I for one would very much like to participate in a chat event, if anyone else is interested.

Well, since we have a place to chat, all we need now is a time where we can get everyone together.   Being in Austrailia, it will be a bit more difficult to arrange than if it was just full of us yanks...   I'd start a thread in General Discussions, and ask who would be interested  and at what times.   Don't forget about timezones.
