I nearly broke the shovel handle trying to dig this one off the bottom of the stack.

PumpMonkey’s link goes to a BBC article about German international radio broadcaster Deutsche Welle adding a Klingon language version of their web presence. (They also have an English version of the Klingon page.)

Unfortunately, it has not been updated since it went up in 2004, which defeats the purpose of having a news site.

Anyway, where was I headed with this? Oh, yes. In looking for something else I stumbled across a short (2:53) NPR interview with Okrand regarding the page’s launch. Go have a listen.

Gaffers make appreciative and supportive remarks in the form of bad imitations of primate calls from the direction of the lighting grids.
