Greetings,

I thought I'd start an introductions thread, so that we can tell others about ourselves :)

SuZilla is a petite half-klingon (half-human) residing on Earth, in the mountains of Japan.
Her main occupation is with the Imperial Brewmasters Brewery where she serves as part-owner and Head Masterbrewer. She is ranked a Master Adept brewer of the KIBG, and strives ever to perfect the brewer's art. Her goal is to create great assortments of highly intoxicating beverages for consumption in vast quantities. She enjoys pushing the boundaries of brewing traditions... just because something is 'not done that way' is not a good enough reason to not do it. She enjoys researching new brews, and has a 'waiting list' of projects.

In her spare time, she enjoys forging her own bladed weapons. Her forge is located in her home in Japan. She also is a collector of antique Terran weapons, and has in her collection some 'semi-automatic pistols' in various calibers. Her prize antique pistol is a '45 caliber Springfield Micro-Compact with Tritium nightsights and ambidextrous safety'. Blade-wise, she collects katana, and her prize in this category is a forged duranium blade with gamma-welded tritanium edge. She is a deadly shot with any kind of pistol or rifle.

In REAL LIFE, I am female, and live in Monessen, PA, USA, 1 hour drive south of Pittsburgh. I collect weapons of all sorts, and blacksmith occasionally. I have handforged a few small weapons - like knives from old files, and a throwing spike and a spear head. I also homebrew, and started out as a mead brewer, and now brew beer also. I am ranked 'Distinguished Expert' in pistol by the NRA, and have also studied various martial arts off and on over the years. My day job is in the medical field, and it is what keeps me from going to as many conventions as I'd like. One of my goals is to be the brewmistress/bartender for a Klingon/Trek  feast or party, and to serve copious amounts of various intoxicants of my making to unsuspecting willing victims.... Muahaha...

Sorry for taking so long to reply...  I was trying to think of something to ask you but I think you pretty much covered everything so well in your intro, and anything shop specific would belong in the Kitchen or the weapons guild...  So... How did you acquire these very useful and exciting interests?  And how do you keep from drowning in the drool of all the fanboys you must encouter on a regular basis?

I'll drink to that!  It is good to have goals, and what better goal than to get a lot of Klingons drunk!

Unfortunately I have found that all too few need assistance in such matters. }}: \

I guess I am just eccentric, and have gotten more so in my old age. I have never been a 'normal' female; in my opinion, a pillow is something to stick your knife under... an unloaded gun is useless... I like roses only if I can brew them... rabbits while cute, are food, not pets... the proper way to eat fresh salmon is raw... and steak should be served 'mooing'...  Wink

Hmm...I better get to more cons so I can aquire some fanboys! Speaking of cons, I am hoping to make Shoreleave 2005. By then, I should have amassed a vast quantity of brew. I just need to find me a party...  Tongue

Sure, you plan on bring a vast quantity of brew to Shoreleave the year I am not planning on attending. IF you are looking for a party on Friday night, follow the signs to the Pirate party. It isn't what it used to be, but most people still stop by for a bit. There is alot more action outside on the terrace than in the actual room.

Hello, a friendly human/klingon wannbe here (DNA transplants and all), who thinks this:

is actually the best way to live life.

Well, Ciao 4 Now
