qatlho' = I thank you (Singular you)
Pronounced for english speakers = kar - tlo
Satlho' = I thank you (Plural You)
Pronounced = sar - tlo

qab is mostly correct. He's absolutely correct on the spelling, but the pronunciation is a little more complicated.
If you want to be able to say this correctly, read on. If it really doesn't matter to you how correct the pronunciation is, ignore me. }}: )
First, the {a} is like American English "father", and the {o} is a plain old long "o", like in "boat"
the {q} sound at the beginning of {qatlho'} is kind of like a standard "k" sound, but is made in the back of the throat.
the {tlh} sound is made by putting your tongue on the roof of your mouth, as if you're going to say a "t", then force air out the sides of the tongue. Many people with speech impediments pronounce the English letter "s" in this way.
The {S} is trickier, if you're only language is English. (If you also happen to speak German, this is the last sound in
Hochdeutsch "Ich"
)
The easiest way to illustrate this sound is through an example:
Say "shhhh", like you're telling someone to be quiet in a library. While continuing to make the sound, open your teeth. You should feel your tongue shift upward slightly. This sound is what {S} sounds like.
Finally, the {'} is a full-fledged consonant in Klingon. It signifies an abrupt cuttof of air, like you're going to start to say a "t", but never actually do it. The glottal stop is found in the English phrases "Uh-uh" (denoting disagreement) "Oh-oh" (Another way of saying "Oh, no") and "hot toddy" (bedtime drink)
Hope this helps, and if it didn't, hope you stayed awake for it. }}: )
