Hello!  I am T'Vala.   I am currently a senior in High School, and have my hands full with school, and posting to my groups.  I am a member of Razorklawfleet, Adventurers Haven, and Queens Riders.  I also own my own group, StormclanWerewolves. (groups.yahoo.com/group/stormclanwerewolves)

I write alot of fan fiction, and read a lot.  My favorite non-trek authors are Tamora Pierce, Chris Crutcher, and Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, however, I will read anything between two covers so any book recommendations are welcome.

My other hobbies are art, computers, and listening to music.  WEll, that's it that I can think of...If anyone wnats to know anything else, ask, nad depending on the question, I will answer.  (You can ask what else I read, but not what my phone number is...stuff like that.)

I know how that is... Otherwise I would have responded to you sooner.

Here's a question for you:  Do you see any similarities between Klingons and your Stormclan Werewolves?   To a certain degree they are intelligent, but rather significantly less civilized than most of our real life experiences experience.

I see some resemblences.  I wasn't thinking of Klingons when I worked out the premise for it.

The warrior code is like the Klingon's code of honor.  It provides all warriors with a compass...but you can lead a wolf to water but you can't make him drink.  Not all wolves follow the code.  Shadowclan is infamous for ignoring it.

The wolves are also intelligent, but not as civilized as most humans are.  (or think they are)  They have their own rituals and stuff like that and follow their own rules strictly...I'm rambling aren't I.  Sorry.

In short the answer to your question is yes.

No, you aren't rambling.  I asked a rahter open-ended question, so you are allowed to get as long winded as you like.  Anyway this thread is all about you, anything you are interested in that you think might be of interest to others here.

I was just interested because over at TFC I do have a species of Klingon Wolves.  There are parallels for this in caon.  Kor compares himself and Kirk to wolves in Errand of Mercy, and Mara describes Klingons as hunters in Day of the Dove.

As for the Honor Code... Not all Klingons follow theirs either.

A Klingon should not have to apologize for giving a straight and civil answer to a direct question. Do not be sorry for putting yourself forward. One of the purposes of The Reception Hall is for people to ramble about themselves. I am glad you have decided to decloak. }}:  D

Remarks such as Kor's distort the truth and give wolves a bad name. Wolves did not factor into Mara's explanation. And as a science officer she certainly would have known that wolves are far from being the only, or even predominant, of Earth's hunting species.

Gaffers make appreciative and supportive remarks in the form of bad imitations of primate calls from the direction of the lighting grids.

That is an opinion.  Substantiate it, or retract it.

Which of Earth's hunting species would you expect her to compare to Klingons to, if she had your knowledge of terran predators?
