Dear Klingon Friends & Family,

It is with great regret that I must share news of a sad loss in my family. My father, Rhéal Plourde, aged 83 years old, passed away yesterday afternoon after a series of heart attacks and complications from cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Nora MacDonald-Plourde and his three children: Rhenore, Leon and Capucine, along with a grandson, Michael-Gordon.

Rhéal Plourde was also known as the eldest member of the Klingon Imperial Diplomatic Corps as a Senior Diplomatic Advisor, Lord Ki'aanu of the House of Kasara.

An online memorial and guestbook will be posted within the next few days on the KIDC website.

---------------------------

Arrangements have not been finalized yet, but the funeral will probably take place in Sydney, NS on the weekend, after a traditional Mi'kmaq wake.

Any messages can be sent care of klingon@klingon.org . Anyone wishing to send a card; they may be sent care of the following address:

That which does not kill me, must have missed me.

Card #1 finally in the mail... It shames me to report that had I not had to clean out my personal ground vehicle to help another move, I would never have known that it beneath the front passenger seat, waiting impatiently to be taken to the freight transit station...

I hope that the one will accept my heartfelt sympathy and apologies.
