Heya folks,

first of all a happy new year! That it may bring you worthy battles and passionate victories.

Not sure how many of you have a tattoo or are interested in bodymodifications in general, but since I have a klingon tattoo I thought I'd share. Wrote a bit on my blog about the responses I got and why I chose this one to be my first tattoo in case you're interested.

So, who else here as some klingon(themed) body adornments?

I have two tattoos, neither one Klingon themes, although one is about to be modified with a Klingon themed one. I am in the process of designing a Klingon saying to be put under one tattoo.

Nice job on yours.

what saying are you thinking of? Any chance of seeing pictures of yours?

Yeah I'm real happy with the endresult and can absolutely recommend the artist. It was done in Amsterdam but he's back to his homecountry now, Canada. So if anyone's from there and is looking for a great tattoo artist, let me know Wink

It will be the tlhIngan Hol translation of Only a fool fights in a burning house. I plan on putting it underneath my firefighter Tattoo, as I am no longer an active firefighter. I designed both of my current tattoos, with help from the artist, but I think he is retiring soon. There is a new guy in town that several coworkers have gone to and swear by, but his shop is moving. I will put up pictures of the Klingon one when it gets done. I am just working out how I want the lettering arranged and thinking about the style of the letters.

Very nice tattoo and, may I add, photography. You and your photographer should think about entering the modeling business.

@qoSagh
Sounds great, it's really nice to have a tattoo that is close to the heart. So often I see people with tribals tattoos or things picked out of a random catologue, can't imagine it having the same depth as something personal would have. Each to their own ofcourse, but I love stories behind a tattoo.

@qorvath
Since it's a snapshot and I am clearly somewhat big-hipped and stretchmarked, I think both me and the photographer won't give up our dayjob anytime soon. Thanks though Wink
