Or low budget Sci Fi? Italian stuff is great. http://www.golobthehumanoid.com/spaghettishrine.html

Favorite Luftwaffe Aces...
Wilhelm Reinert, (51 Med kills), including 22 Spitfires. Total 174. 1st to shoot down a USAAF Mustang.

Anton Hackl. 192 kills,( with an additional 24 gun camera evidenced ones never credited). Shot down a Lanc, a Mosquito & a a P-51 in his 1st mission in the Dora.

MMA. In the old days, Vitor Belfort & Bas Rutten were my favorites. Anyone willing to step in the ring has my respect. 170 pound division is looking up Mike Pyle, BJ Penn, & Fitch are gonna keep it interesting. Jon Jones is gonna rip through the 205 weight division. Though I wouldn't bet against Matt Hamil.

Welcome to the Klingon Imperial Forums, Black Hornet.

Yeah, Sabbath rules!   I've been playing some of their songs in Rock Band.  Hard to beat the classics.  Cheesy Klingon Grin   Although, Finnish Dinosaur Children's Metal band HeviSaurus definitely holds my attention.  They have some videos and songs up on YouTube.

Hmm, I didn't realize there were Spaghetti Space Operas as well as Spaghetti Westerns!   Thanks, I'll have to check that out eventually if I can find time.   It's amazing what creative people can do even on a low budget, but in my experience far too often low budget means low effort.   It doesn't cost money to think up a good story but it takes time, and time is (almost) money.

I think one of the things that makes the Klingons interesting is that for as little as was shown of Klingons in TOS, there were so many different interpretations of them... Samurai, Vikings, Russians, Mongolians, Puerto Ricans in gold lamé...  But there weren't any of those things, but ultimately their own unique thing.   Hmm... Klingons and Luftwaffe, that might be an interesting comparison....

Hi Klythe. Yah saw the Sabs in 78,( last tour with Ozzy before breakup), & VH & Sammy Hagar opened with Boston headlining. Everyone left after Sabbath played. Then again in 1980 I saw them & in 82 frontrow with a very low stage in San Bernardino. Loudest show I've ever seen ears rang for 3  days. I asked Geezer last year at a cd signing who his favorite Dr Who was, William Hartnell was his reply.

Sabbath appeals to outsiders as I imagine do the Klingons. Luftwaffe like the JAF flew til war ended unlike US pilots that got a 6 month tour then rotated home. Not sure the duration for British pilots. But Luftwaffe certainly had warrior ethos/culture. Finns I believe had the highest kill/loss ratio of any WW 2 airforce.

On the subject of luftwaffe, a village in England has just opened a museum to celebrate a luftwaffe pilot who came down in their area.  the pilot showed great courage and honour in doing everything he could to avoid crashing in the village, seeing no honour in killing innocent children and civilians.  If I remember rightly his target had been factory buildings in the Bristol area, although I may be remembering wrongly.

Interesting. Galland & Stanford Tuck became good friends & business associates after the war. & on comparing notes they discovered they had each shot down each others wingman. So that makes us even Stevens as you say in English he said to Stanford.

Starbuck from Battlestar Gallactica is based on Galland, cigar & all. He had 1 good eye & scored 104 British & US kills, ( several more uncredited as he continued to fly after Goering grounded him). Sorry can't post links, am at a Library.

Stanford Tuck had 30 kills & was in on the planning committee of the Great escape, but he was transferred out 1 day before the escape as the Germans had a system of rotating smart prisoners randomly to disrupt their organization. Fly for you Life I think it was called. He did finally escape to the Russian side.
