For those who are wondering "Abaddon" is the word filter's word for the fiery place where doomed souls go for all eternity.

I always thought that "From Hell's heart" meant "from the center of hell" since Hell is a place and doesn't actually have a heart.

Sure, but English and Klingon both use the heart idiomatically in the same ways.

Aye, I reasoned much the same way; the heart is not so much a metaphor for the middle region of Hell/ghe'tor, but rather the very spirit of the place.

Fair enough. I have a tendency to remove idiom from a phrase before I translate it. It probably means I miss some chances to use more colourful Klingon, but it tends to make the translations easier people who aren't familiar with the idioms.

Understandable, but understanding a language involves understanding its slang and idioms, and Klingon has many, like any language.
