My way....in Klingon

Hello,
I'm a french artist. I make some drawing with marker. You can see my production in this place :
http://www.noweb.org/vaubourg
In my drawing, I mix a heterogeneous collection of ideas ( piracy, B-movies, rock music, road movies, science fiction...).
So I need for one, a translation of "MY WAY". Not all the song, juste the title "my way" in Klingon.
It's funny ... no?
Thank you very much for your help and sorry for the bad english.
I will can post the drawing when is finish...

Well, there's no completely straightforwsrd way to make that translation. "The Klingon Way" is
tlhIngan tIgh
, where
tIgh
means 'custom'. By this logic, "my way" would be
tIghwIj
. However, while 'custom' may be a good description of the way of a people, it is perhaps a bad description of the way of an individual in a heterogenous society; perhaps you want something more like
yInwIj
('my life') or
tIqwIj
('my heart').
Edit: If you want to see how these words are rendered in the Klingon writing system
pIqaD
, you can use Klingonska Akademien's pIqaD playground:
http://klingonska.org/piqad/play.cgi
When doing this, note that Romanized Klingon is case-sensitive;
tIq
means 'heart',
tIQ
means 'he/she/it/they is/are ancient', and
Tiq
isn't even a well-formed word.

Or, you could use
mIwwIj
'my method' or
nabwIj
'my plan'.

I agree about
nab
, but is
mIw
so much a method as it is a distinct step in some plan with multiple steps? If I were to see a picture like the one described and with the text
mIwwIj
, I'd probably interpret it roughly as "my own contribution to some greater initiative".

I've always used
mIw
for any 'method' concept, not just a step in a process. The Klingon
Tao Te Ching
uses
mIw'a'
for 'tao', which basically means 'path, road'. So, I suppose
HewIj
'my course' could also work.

Hello
Thank you everybody for your help,
This song is a strange story :
At the begining, MY WAY is a french song from Claude Francois. "AS USUAL" is the original title.
The lyrics are really different but the idea is the same.
In french the song talks about the ordinariness life of a men and his wife. The ordinariness of their love, of their life, of their sexual relationship, (...), always "AS USUAL".
This is the idea of resignation, fatality, in fact : accepting your destiny.
In 1968 D. Bowie made a rejected cover version "Even a fool learns to love".
And in 1969 Paul Anka wrote the cover version "MY WAY " for Franck Sinatra.
So,
Maybe HewIj "my course" is better ?
What do you think about that ?
thank you again.

Ah, alright; I can see your argument for
mIw
, then, and agree that
mIwwIj
would be a good translation.
I'm always a bit nervous about translating idiomatic expressions literally, but I think that it's pretty clear what the figurative course really is, so
HewIj
could certainly work.
Oh, so it's a Sinatra song... I'm a bit embarassed to admit that I thought you were talking about the Limp Bizkit song
Having read Anka's lyrics, I'd actually recommend
tIghwIj
, "my custom"; it feels as though the singer is basically telling us "Maybe my choices were not always optimal, but I always acted in accordance with
my
custom!". Actually, I'd say that's rather Klingon of him
