Heyyyy everyone Smiley
So I'm doing the KLI postal course at the moment, and it's going great, however, I have a quick question... (maybe this thread needs to be in "translation help"?)
How would I go about translating "If you can't sell this than I don't need it"?
I got the first part.... Doch Dangevbe'chugh vaj, but I'm completely stumped with the second part ("I don't need it") since the second part is basically all suffixes (I/it is a verb prefix, "dont" and "need" are suffixes...). Any ideas?

Also, it'd be great if someone could post answers to all the exercises.. I tried sending an email to KLI, but I haven't gotten a response... (though admittedly that was a while ago..)

Thanks Smiley

The -nIS 'need' suffix you are referring to is actually closer in meaning to 'need to (do something)'.   I don't know what verb the Postal Course is looking for (do the lessons include vocabulary?), but poQ 'demand, require' is what I usually use.

Where did you get your copy of the Postal Course?  I didn't think it was still active.

Thanks for the reply, that helps Smiley
I'm not too sure that word was in the vocabulary, but I was less worried about the answers and more about the fact that I didn't understand how a sentence could be made up of just suffixes hahah

They offer PDF's of the course on their website (6 lessons in all I think..). http://www.kli.org/study/postcourse.html

I guess jIHaD is right because in the Postal Course part 4 the word poQ is not mentioned.
Although the TKD is mentioned in part 1 all translations can be done without it. You only need the wordlists as they are presented in the course.

What's more, part 4 also gives the example:

QumwI''e' vIghajnIS
I need a communicator  (and not something else)

to illustrate the use of 'e', but to need (something) is implicitly translated as ghajnIS

If you can't sell it then I don't need it.
