On a different topic thread, http://www.klingon.org/smboard/index.php/topic,876.0/topicseen.html, I asked if there was a tlhingan Hol translation for this. I would like to know if any master linguist can be of assistance.

KLINGON OATH OF EMPIRE

Beneath the stars that drip with blood
I stand, defiant and alone.
I am here my Emperor. Call on me, I beg of thee
I was nothing before this day and nothing
shall I remain if I cannot serve thee now.

Pain and suffering are my just rewards.
Do with me as serves thee best.
It matters not that I survive,
only that which I Defend.

Forfeit of life, but not of honor,
in thy cause, death at last is welcome.
I am here, My Emperor, ready at last
to be an instrument of thy will.

Ready to obey and die.

It seems appropriate to invoke a quote from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In the words of Deep Thought:

"Tricky."

Seriously, this is very good poetry in English. If you want equivalently good poetry in tlhIngan Hol, I can't help you. I won't itemize the difficulties; suffice it to say that most of the phrasing and a good chunk of the vocabulary will not survive translation. In order for the result to have a similar flavor to the original, someone with a more poetic style than mine will have to tackle it.
