Why should I call my microwave a replicator?

I said "Yes and proud of it" for the microwave/replicator question because I once called my camera's tripod a tricorder serveral times before my friends told me what I was saying. I couldn't say yes for the klingon question or the phaser question, and I've mostly only watched DS9 with a bit of everything else so I just said I watch one seriese pretty regularly.

Not sure how this is relevant. There are a multitude of Trek and sci-fi sites out there that are better for discussion, gaming, analysis, referencce, and the like. startrek.com is merely the corporate mouthpiece for spreading rumours and selling things. However, if you want to buy a set of Burger King promotional glasses and view a really creepy commercial for them, it is *the* place to go.

These questions do not measure one’s dedication to Trek as much as how much discretionary income one has to spend on it. Buying a worthwhile costume costs a lot of money. Grabbing up each new re-issued, remastered or repackaged season, or director’s cut of each season of each series will set you back quite a bit. And then there are the movies....  Being a Trek fan can be a very expensive proposition. }}: /

*shrugs*  The test was aimed at mainstream fans, not Klinfolk or Klingonists. thlIngan Hol has little to do with the rest of the fandom. You are too overspecialized to fit the test writer’s target audience.  Consider it a badge of honor.

Yeah...I guess...I don't really own most of the DvD sets and I think by the time the person wrote the questions about 42, 47 and Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy they were just getting bored...remember, it wasn't created by professionals, just some person who decided to sign up on the webstie and create the test. We can't expect them to be perfect.
