An honorless klingon is like a profitless ferengi!

I know someone who is just cruel and annoying to me. Then one day, I was on Windows Live with her, and I had an idea. I have my limited knowledge of Klingon and my TKD right here, why not cuss her out in Klingon? I came up with the most horrible things to say to her. She was totally stumped. It was awesome.

Ha ha! The only problem is, saying, "Your mother has a smooth forhead" is more of a compliment for terrans Smiley

I've come up with one good one that works on Terrans.
It's not in any way related to mothers or foreheads, though.
I came up with yIngagh'egh jay', which is better left untranslated here. Suffice it to say it involves doing something to oneself.

This does not make much sense to me. I know that "yIn" means "live" or "life", though you probably meant "yI" the prefix, which means "you". I also know that "'egh" means "oneself" and that "jay'" means "intensely". I couldn't find "ngagh" or "gagh" in TKD. I found "ghagh" which means "gargle", though...Could you please tell me the pages of TKD that would help me translate it so I can look them up? Knowing part of it just makes me more curious...I have to know!...I want to use it on my enemies Evil

You'll find it in Klingon for the Galactic Traveler. It means mate with. I believe it was heard first on the Power Klingon audiotape, in the phrase targhlIj yIngagh; yIruch go and mate with your targ!

Yes, I just found out what it means. (Next time you might want to do that on a PM, since the point was not to translate it here.)

I like how human swear words are usually concerned with excrement or vulgar intimacies, but Klingon curses are concerned with cowardice, untrustworthiness, procrastination, frequent requests for aid, loss of military might or simple weakness or fear. Sure, telling a Klingon to mate with himself would probably make him angry, but calling him a taHqeq means you are either suicidal or have gonads of granite.
