Hello,

I actually think that it would be good to watch a speaker speak tlhIngan Hol. This way you can be quite sure that you create the right sound. The problem is that I can be quite sure that I aproximate the tlhIngan Hol sounds, but I'm never sure wheter I'm creating them correctly.

I've found a small video of people speaking tlhIngan Hol clearly here. Do you know of any more video I could study, or is there anything else you reccomend for learning the sounds?

Thank you,

Omnificient

One video I can recommend is this one, in which Marc Okrand talks about how the language came to be.
There is always the KLI's phonology page, and here you'll find recordings of them saying everyday Klingon phrases.
Furthermore, you can visit Nick Nicholas' Klingon site and scroll down to the excerpt from Hamlet, and listen to him recite it as you read it.

Hope that helps!

Hi Omnificient,

A funny and useful way to hear and read Klingon in action are the movies from tere'S

http://teresh.tdonnelly.org/klinfilm.html

He provides the texts  to the spoken language. If you do not like Klingons being portrayed as Lego figures: Do'Ha', too bad.

In addition you can search YouTube for parts of the movies: look for:
III The Search for Spock
V The Final Frontier
I The Undiscovered Country
Only those texts are quite short.

Those videos by tere'S are great for learning the proper tlhIngan Hol sounds, and some vocabulary.

Thanks!
