I welcome you to the Klingon Imperial Forums. I am Klythe, I handle much of the technical details of the forums. If you have any questions about the forum software or such feel free to ask me.

Excellent. More right honorable Klingons from the UK. Are you a friend of Kehlan?
Which part of the UK are you from if I may ask?
The typical way of learning the klingon Language is by buying the Klingon Dictionary(TKD) and the Klingon Way(TKW) and Klingon for the Galactic Traveller(KGT). The
Klingon Language Institute noramlly has these and may other Klingon language material available, but last i checked thy were just selling memberships and a work translated from Chinese to Klingon. They've been quiet the last year or two since they switched over to electronic publication... They also offer a postal course, which is scored and help and corrections provided.
Once you've gotten a good start with those, if you are strugglling, there are
the language forums here, and the KLI mailing list where you can ask specific questions and to get clarifications and ideas.
I would offer you a word of caution. If you don't set realistic expectations for yourself you will get frustrated and give it up... Ultimately the only way to achieve fluency in a language is to use the language regualarly if not daily. A lot of new learners shoot for fluency and burn out in learning quicklt.
