    This thread is about you.  Talking about the socialogogy paper you plan to do is fine in the Social Studies forum, but reposting it here lead to some confusion, so I had to truncate this post and point it to the other thread.

    Well, this implies there is something to understand that is not.  Since we are talking about a made up species of space aliens, even the most knowledgeble is working from partial information and will have to rely heavily on extrapolation and interpretation.   Klingons may be one of the most developed and popular sci-fi alien cultures, but there is far too much that is not known or currently knowable that would be discoverable in an actual culture, but must be made-up for Klingons.   And not every Klingon thinker agrees with the others interpretations and inventions.

   Is it the level of completeness that drew your interest to Klingons?  Or something about the material presented that appeals to you?
