May Honor be with all your houses in the day to day battles we all must endure! Hello all, I am Commander K'Mgren sutai Jirrada.k.a SGT Matthew Berryhill USA; currently on my 7th OIF/OEF deployment in the War on Terror. This is my fourth visit to land of Babylon and I have the rest in Afghanistan and Kuwait. Have seen my fair share of battles as well as loss but if not us then who? I am glad to see that there are still many fellow warriors that do still believe in honor and the glory of a fight! Ok, so who in here has the best Bloodwine?!

It is good to meet you KMgren.   You are to be admired and respected for your serive against the forces of repression and terror.   To you and your fellow warriors!  We will drink to your friends who have died fighting, and then to those who still fight.  My brother served honorably in Iraq, but he is home now.

Oh.  I don't keep any bloodwine...  Even the strongest does not compare to chechtlhutlh, but I'm sure we can find some if you do not drink anything else. Cheesy Klingon Grin

Now that we have drunk together...  Tell me friend, what has resparked your interest in Klingons?  Klingons are not the only society of honorable warriors.  We recognise this.  They Day of Honor includes acknowledging acts of honor in your oponenets and enemies, on their own terms no less.  Why has Klingon honor caught your heart and opened your ear to the screaming of your blood?

My interest has not waivered I would say but the cold hard fact of being deployed so much has really been the only thing that has kept me away from even posting online... klingons as a whole have always fascinated me. The camaraderie that has been depicted, a bunch of guys that will go drink, fight to just fight, have a good time and then just revel in fun of that... is awesome to me... reminds me of the warrior lodges of medieval times ...

I thank you for your respect in that what those of us still in uniform do in the current conflicts; Glory to the fallen always. Glory to those who have made it through and can tell the tales of what was seen...

Welcome Brother Warrior,

Klingons are indeed the most fascinating of the Trek races. I do not think however that we fight just to fight. That sounds like something that a mindless beast would do. I prefer to think of us as fighting for a cause, but seeing the inner beauty and nobility that is contained in glorious combat. We fight because fighting is always an option and usually the best one, but we respect and honor the skills and achievements of the warrior and the warrior culture.

On a real life not, thank you for serving.
