This a poem about a lullaby, it is a mother singing to her son the day before he starts his official training.

Lullaby

Sleep my little warrior
Lay down your weary head
Close your eyes
As the darkness of sleep
Lays her blanket over you

Your games you have played
All day in the street
Shadows of battles
Long  past into the realms
Of history

Sleep my little warrior
Grow strong, as my lullaby
Sings over you
Dream sweet young warrior
For tomorrow the dreams are over
And a new day dawns

Very good. I definately like the idea of it being an occasion specific song.
