I hope this is the right place to ask for this. My name is Jonathan Starr and I'm the co-director, co-writer and producer of a new comedy web series currently in production called 'geeks underground'. It's a fun web series that follows four post-university 'geeks' and a computer bent on world domination as they deal with friendships, relationships, gaming addictions and even bullies.

Now one of the scripts involves one of the main characters trying to get a girl to go on a date with him. This girl, although beautiful, happens to be a huge star trek geek just like him. And so he speaks to her in Klingon for at least a page of script.

I'm not sure if it would be too much to paste it here and ask for a translation, so if someone could contact us via our e-mail (or pm me), we would really appreciate it, and it helps to give proper credit. As it's low budget this would only be for credit, but it means you get to be part of something fun, and soon to be big on the net (we hope). Contact us at info@geeksunderground.com

You can visit the future website at http://geeksunderground.com

Shooting for this scene is on September 1st, so if someone could help us asap it would help us that much more.

(at the same time, we may need to contact someone in our area (Montreal) to help the actors pronounce the language appropriately, where might I go to find someone on this forum? or elsewhere?)

In order to succeed, you must enjoy eating poison!

I'm sure nobody here would mind; it's really more a question of what would be most comfortable by you and the people you represent.

I won't be applying, personally, as I lack the skills, but I dare say you've come to the right place; there are a number of people here who really know their stuff, and I'm sure many will be very happy to help with a production dedicated to getting the Klingon language right.

Wonderful, we've already received three replies.

I suppose it has more to do with knowing who to give proper credit to and not feeling comfortable releasing the script to the general public.

It would actually be of more use to us, as mentioned in another thread, if someone lives in Montreal and would help us help the actors pronounce the text.
