Hello there,

I am writing from London, England, where I am working on a major new British television show celebrating science fiction on television.

We are going to Los Angeles to film in September and are currently looking for science fiction and Star Trek fans and experts in the LA area to join us in what we’re doing.

If you might be interested in taking part please could you email me (letting me know the best way of contacting you)  and I will let you know more about our show.

Many thanks

Emma

How about you telling us what you are looking for and post it here instead of us emailing you? Quite a few of us have been burned by journalists in the past and are not so easily drawn in any more. So try posting something here and give us something to comment on on the open forum and you maybe surprised by the turn out.

Good points made. I also strongly urge everyone to read my post on dealing with the media in the Do you live as a Klingon? thread. You may never think of yourself as someone else’s subject material, but you never know when you might get snagged at a con or other fan meet by a reporter intent on getting that “fan on the street” interview.

Gaffers make appreciative and supportive remarks in the form of bad imitations of primate calls from the direction of the lighting grids.
