Lets say this,

I know little of the Klingon way of life, your belief and culture. but what little ive seen, i dig.

I hit a party witha  klingon room, you guys served some hard drinks, partied hard, seemed to be hard. I dug ya.

Now ive never been a star trek guy really, yeah ive watched a lot, but never gave a g'day't and only when nothing better was on. But yall seemed like insane viking [individual]s and i really dug that.

I talked with one of yer guys at that party, he seemed impresed that id turned my car into a roadwarrior wet dream of expanded steel and goat skulled hood ornament.

So i figured id check you all out. A better look.

Glad to be here and observing the culture.

"Suede"...  ..."viking"...
Har vi fått en ny svensk med oss, måhända?  {Do we mayhaps have another Swede among us?}

Välkommen, hörrudu!  Jag är faktiskt helnykterist i verkligheten och har nog aldrig "partied hard", men låtsas-jag är riktigt hård, han, och dessutom en riktig fylle-fylle-hund Wink
{Welcome, you!  I'm actually a teetotaler in real life and I suppose I've never really "partied hard", but my make-believe self is quite the tough one, not to mention a real booze-hound Wink}

    Suede...  What an... interesting moniker, for someone who claims to admire hardness, being named after a leather that is very soft to the touch.  Cheesy Klingon Grin

    There is much more to the Klingon Culture than Party Monguls and viking.  Too be honest, it has been longer than I would like since I had a good vike.   Not that the pyjama wearing Starfleeters have anything worth viking these days.   Cheesy

    As you see, some Klingons like to party.  Some Klingons like to fight.  Some Klingons like to build things like uniforms, weapons and roadwarrior cars.   Yes, I would definately say turning your car into a war machine makes you an honorary Klingon already.  Some like to cook squid or compose martial music.   But what makes us all Klingons is the scream of our blood and our passion for what we chose to do.

    These forums have been accused of being too ... academic ... and that this is somehow not Klingon to think and discuss Klingon culture intelligently.  Bah.  We are here to argue with eachother and have a great time doing it.   That is what we are.  We will not change.  With that I welcome you to the Klingon Imperial Forums, if the voice of your blood tells you are ready.
