Wow, I have just find this forum and I-m finding it awesome!

I am not a native english nor thlIngan Hol speaker, so I am already apologizing for any mistakes I could make. My "human" name is Luis, and I´m just from a little corner of South America (there´s not much Klingon here, you know!).

About my Klingon name, Hamlet, I´ve taken It from any well instructed Klingon favourite human writer: Shakespeare.

And, about that, do you know if the name Hamlet correctly fits the phonology of thlIngan Hol ?

I would have to study very hard to being able to read the Hamlet tragedy in its Klingon original!

As a matter of fact, it fits typical Klingon word structure perfectly.

Words are usually cvc or cvccvc. However, there is sometimes cv, cvcvc and, with clear, seemingly strict restrictions, cvcc. There are a few more variations, but they rarely show up and the preceding are most common.
