I am Kaga, one who has lurked these boards for many months now due to your excellent Klingon Kitchen threads, and now I hope to share some of my recipes with you! A resident of the Chicago suburbs, I am something of a Klingon Chef and an aspiring Brewmaster as well! I have many interests outside of cooking, as well- I've been a student of tlhIngan Hol for many years now, and as a student of Terran martial arts, I am also interested in Klingon hand-to-hand combat and weaponry. Qapla’!

Well, now that you have stopped lurking like a Romulan,  I welcome you to the Klingon Imperial Forums.

Actually, I was born in the chicago burbs myself, but moved out West when I was still to young to remember anything...   I'm sure you will be a very popular one here.  If there only one thing all Klingons enjoy, that would be food. Cheesy Klingon Grin

We've tried in the past to get back in contact with one of the previous brewmasters on these boards, Suzilla.  Maybe you will have better luck, but she is a wily and dangerous one who may not want to be found.   She is also into guns martial arts and a weaponsmith as you can see.   So perhaps a hail to our Klingon Sisters as well?  Cheesy Klingon Grin

I sent her an email about joining the KIBG, but haven't heard back and that was a few days ago. Does anyone know of any way to get at their brew recipes if the guild is defunct? I've noticed their webspace expires at the end of the month, so I've been saving what little information they've made public to my harddrive, and I suggest you all do the same if you're interested in their drinks!

I presume that when you have the information, you might be willing to share?
Currently I have no interest in acquiring the information...

If I get the information, I'd share it if the Guild goes defunct... I don't want to go around giving away trade secrets, but if the Guild is dead I don't mind sharing.

This is assuming, of course, that I can find someone from the Guild to tell me their recipes. Anyone here who knows the KIBG's secrets?

Welcome Kaga, it is good to see another Klingon Chef. I once knew a Klingon General named Glekk who moved to the Chicago area (we lost touch and I have no idea if he is still into Klindom), either way I have long been interested in Klingon eating and drinking. I am a Journeyman in the KIBG, but I also think the group is now defunct, as there have been no updates on the site in years. The beauty of forums like these is that we can in essence form new informal guilds simply by conversing on the subjects at hand.
