What would TIIC need to do in terms of plot and storylines on "Enterprise" during the remainder of the series' projected seven year run in order to establish continuity with the Klingons as represented during TOS? Should they even bother, or is it hopeless?
Suggestions? Speculation? Sarcasric remarks?

Gaffers make appreciative and supportive remarks in the form of bad imitations of primate calls from the direction of the lighting grids.

I believe that the depiction of Klingons in the ENT storyline is acurate  --from the klingon point of view--.   In the origional series there were small hintings that the klingons were not actually tyrants and barbarians but actually honorable warriors.  Most of this is seen in "Day of the Dove".  Some seen in "Errand of Mercy"  if you look closely.

From the Terran point of view the Klingons should start to be viewed as honorless, powerhungry, tyrants  who only tollerate and relate to one Terran in the history of their species --Hitler (-Kirk, ST6, Dinner scene).

The Ent era Klingons should also stop tolerating the Terran, Archer, and his menacing crew.  The way Archer has been treated is reminicent of Picard's treatment in TNG and Kirk's treatment in ST6.  ENT should make the interactions seem more reminicent of a "blood feud"  rather then a game of curse warfare.  In TOS all 4 episodes with klingons there was major bitterness shown between the Klingons.  Even when there was an order of non-agression as in "Friday's Child".

Again I think that they uphold the Klingon nature greatly from a neutral point of view, but they still need to work on the adversarial point of view.

Actually I thought the Ent Era Klingons did really well for not tolerating Archer.  They only sentanced him to work for the rest of his life in the mines of Rura' Penthe'....   Although it appears security has always been rather lax there, as long as you have a ride, you can just walk out it seems.   Then they send first one ship and then three to hunt him down and kill him.   I think that's pretty solid intolerance.   Clearly, if Archer does become president of the Federation as theMirror Universe implied he would,  the Klingon Empire will be up in arms and break off any diplomatic relations with this new "Federation" and I immagine declare war immediately.
