Hello and Q'apla,  I am a new member to this forum.  My Klingon name is Q' Sioned for a favorite character from a book I read.  I am an ardent Trekkie and greatly admire the Klingon way.  Having been in the military and growing up as a Marine Corps brat, I understand the honor and loyalty aspects of the Klingon culture.   I strive to live and achieve these goals in my everyday dealings.  I am currently looking for a house to join.  If anyone would like to contact me regarding possible membership into their house please email me.

I live in Sharpsburg MD just a mile from Antietam Battlefield.  I am a member of the Purple Heart League auxiliary.

Welcome to the Klingon Imperial Forums.  We try to discover and explore new things about the Klingon's culture based on what we already know...

I take it that you enjoyed the book a lot to take the name of your favourite character from it.   What was the book?  What was the character and what did you like about that one in particular?    And most importantly for people who talk about you behind your back(hehehe.  But in a nice way.), how you do you pronounce it?

What does the Purple Heart Auxillary do, may I ask?

The book was a series by Melanie Rawn, titiled "Dragon Prince".  The character is a princess who marries the protaganist at the end of the series named Pol.  I liked her because she was so strong and even goes "undercover" at one point in the story as a kitchen maid to spy on the antagonist in the book.  I could just picture a princess dressed in rags who has been schooled in the royal ways trying to make that work.  She had been schooled in the ways of the court and was taught to lead yet while she was"undercover", she had to attempt to act as a simple kitchen maid.  She also takes on a dragon and kicks it's butt royally.  The name is pronounced "Sh' Ned".

The Purple Heart auxilliary is for the wives and family members of the Purple Heart League and support local charities.  The auxilliary also contributes actively to helping our wounded veterans who are in VA hospitals and homes.
