I actually wantet to say: what a beautiful sunset, but I coulnd't find that word.

What a beautiful death.

'IH = beautiful
die = Hegh

So:
Hegh 'IH

Is this correct this way?

Hegh 'IH does mean beautiful death.

It's not a complete sentence, but there is precedent for such fragments: ta'mey Dun, bommey Dun. Great deeds, great songs. (The Klingon Way, page 15)

What should the correct sentence be then?

I'm not sure what you mean by "correct sentence". What a beautiful death isn't exactly a complete sentence either; it's more of an exclamation. I think what you came up with is a perfectly good translation.

If you want a rigidly grammatical complete sentence, look at 'IH Hegh death is beautiful. But since Klingon lacks the distinction between definite and indefinite articles in English, it might mean a death, any death in general instead of a specific death implied by the English phrase. You could say 'IH Heghvam this death is/was beautiful, or try to add an indication of completion with 'IHpu' Heghvam this death has been beautiful. Note that there is some controversy surrounding the exact shade of meaning carried by the perfective suffix -pu' on a verb of quality like 'IH be beautiful, but I don't think it's a problem here.
