How would you put together "warlord"?

Well war or warfare is veS. There are two words for lord, joH (possibly only referring to the Lord of a House) and jaw.

So veS joH would mean lord of war. Putting the two words together to form a single word would be frowned upon as uncanonical.

Why creating an exact tlhIngan Hol translation of an English word?
I think in Spanish and We have no word such as "warlord". What we would use in this case is something more like " Lord - of - war"

In fact, veS joH does mean just that, "Lord of War", as jon has pointed out. Warlord doesn't really mean much more... 8-)
