What do you think???
I thought i was a good game with fair game play. It was more of a movie
than a game.

I enjoyed it back when I first got it. While the acting was way overboard (even for Klingons
), I enjoyed Gowron.
I dug it our to play again, only to find it does not work on Windows XP...

I need help with running Star Trek: Klingon (1996) in XP

I just obtained a copy of Star Trek: Klingon, an interactive movie-type computer game from 1996, which includes a Klingon language lab. Do you know how to make it work in Windows XP SP2? I don't know if I have enough space and memory (40GB HD / 256 MB) for virtualization.
Suggestions and how-to's highly appreciated.

It just doesn't work in XP, even when you try a lower compatibility mode. I know many people who have tackled this, and no-one has found a solution.
You can play the sound files on the Language Lab, if you open each one individually, but that's about it.

Thank you, ter'eS, for the clarification. If this is the situation, can it at least run in Windows 2000? My computer had that SO intalled when I first got it, so maybe I can create a small partition for 2000 and run the game there?

I would think it probably wouldn't, since Windows Server 2000 is based on the same technology as Windows XP. If you can find a machine that is running Windows 95, 98 or Windows ME you should be fine.
Any reports on how in runs in emulated, virtual or alternately implemented environments like VMWare or WINE?
