Sonchi ceremony

According to Memory alpha, the Sonchi ceremony includes a phrase Face me if you dare, which it translated as Qab jIH nagil. Now that looks decidedly like tlhIngan Hol to me, so I corrected the spelling to qab jIH ngIl. But even that seems to be totally ungrammatical.

Where does this Klingon come from?

I would translate Face me if you dare as bIngIlchugh HIqaD. Does that look correct?

That looks right to me. The phrase you got from Memory Alpha is gibberish, or, to be more charitable, is probably in an ancient, venerated dialect no longer used day-to-day Wink

Qab jIH nagil was used in the TNG episode where Gowron and Duras "confirmed" that K'Mpec was dead.

They stuck K'Mpec with the painsticks and said "Qab jIH nagil". Then one of the Duras dudes blew himself up.
