In the Klingon wikis, users can make a request for a page to be deleted. These requests appear on a list and I want some text to describe the list. The list description could be something like It has been requested that these pages are deleted.

I can't translate the above, and have opted for the simpler: Somebody has requested that somebody delete these pages. For want of better words, we are using teq to mean delete, and ghItlh for page. I think this translates as: ghItlhmeyvam luteqlu' 'e' tlhoblu'

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

Would it not be best to ask that particular question of the wiki(s)'s administrators? I'm sure that people have asked them to delete pages before, and they may already have a preferred phrase in use for that request.

I admit I may be missing the point...

I am the thought administrator for the wiki in question. One of my aims is to translate the various pages into Klingon, that is correct Klingon.

For "delete", consider qIl cancel, nge' take away, lojmoH make all gone, or baq terminate.

The simple grammar for "somebody requests that..." comes out as ...net tlhob. So somebody requests that this page be terminated could be ghItlhvam baqlu' net tlhob.

But instead of the wittering "it has been requested that...", why not just go for a straightforward command? ghItlhvam yIqIl Cancel this page!
