I have been a long time fan of Star Trek along with my husband. We have been many fan clubs through the years. We even ran a chapter of KAG several years ago. The IKV Sush Jev. It was a very small chapter but we had tons of fun! We are no longer as active in fandom since my husband's health has declined severely over the last 4 years. But that does not stop us from finding other ways to participate. I look forward to meeting some new friends here in the forums.

Welcome to the Klingon Imperial Forums then.  I've only started getting actively involved in local fandom, conventions and clubs the last few years...  Most of the time I've mostly been an online Klingon.  Having done both, I can say they are two very different things, but both can be very rewarding.   Though I find for some reason the online poltical games tend to be easier to resolve than in actual local clubs...  Maybe it's just easier for people to distance themselves from other people who they can no longer stand for some reason or other.

As far as making friends, you definitely will want to come to our monthly chat this Saturday afternoon Pacific time.    I hope your husband's health returns and you fight many more battles at each other's side.  And I look forward to hearing about your experiences running a local club.

Welcome to the fora, Drashar.

I wish you and your husband lots of replacement klingon fun via this medium. It is entirely different, if you ask me. But also rewarding.

As far as making friends, you definitely will want to come to our monthly chat this Saturday afternoon Pacific time.
